Tiny Thai, Upper East Side
***
If you know me well, you know that Thai food makes the world go round for me.
I'll give it to NYC for having some of the most uniquely decorated restaurants. This afternoon, I went to Tiny Thai for lunch. What initially attracted me was the $6.98 lunch special sign outside of the restaurant lol. After I walked in, I was aroused by all of the bright colors and decor of the place. I have noticed as I am getting older that bright colors really stimulate my senses.
For $6.98, you choose from an array of appetizers (I chose shrimp dumplings) and a main entree. They didn't have Pad See Ew which is my absolute favorite, but I opted for Pad Thai with steamed tofu. The food was delicious. Great food for a great price had me leaving the restaurant with a big smile on my face :)
I took some pictures (on the left) of the restaurant just because it was so pretty. Love all the bottles on the purple and blue walls. If you are in the upper east side neighborhood during lunch hours Monday-Friday - eat here. It is not only aesthetically pleasing, but has really yummy food!
