Deux Ave, Back Bay

This evening, I went on my second date with "Ed" to Deux Ave located at 371 Commonwealth Avenue in my favorite neighborhood - the Back Bay.

I had been looking forward to visiting Deux Ave ever since it happened and I thought tonight would be an appropriate occasion.

Deux Ave lacks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Seriously, I haven't been this impressed by a restaurant / bar in Boston since Mistral. It is small, cozy, so incredibly elegant all piecing together a beautiful environment.

The location is phenomenal as well as the outdoor seating. If I wasn't such a whimp, I would have sat outside and enjoyed people watching in the Back Bay. Instead I opted for the inside which was equally, if not more beautiful.

Everyone from the hostess to the bartender and even the owner were nothing but sweethearts. Everyone was extremely accommodating and as a patron you could easily tell how great their team is at Deux Ave.

Although Wednesdays are typically not that happening in Beantown, there was a pretty good crowd at this hidden treasure. Deux Ave was on my list of places to veg out before I moved to NYC and I am so happy I got a chance to come this evening.

As far as Ed goes, he is very nice but it is so hard to communicate for obvious reasons! iTranslator can only take you so far. I experienced a few sentences where messages definitely got lost in translation LOL. Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend - Thirsty Thursday begins tomorrow... woot! woot!
