Athan's European Bakery, Washington Square

On my walk home from the gym (ugh, dreadful), I stopped by Athan's European Bakery which I have walked past thousands of times, but never made my way in.

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with the sweet aromas of hundreds of desserts. The decor is so lovely, I couldn't stop taking pictures with my phone!

You truly feel like you are at a European cafe/bakery. I do not have a sweet tooth at all, but the presentation and smells of the sweet delicacies made my mouth water!

I will definitely have to come back on another warm summer night to taste the Tiramisu flavored gelato. YUM! Check out the crazy chandelier!
