I will be the first to admit that I hate reading. I don't know if that makes me seem less intelligent, but it's the truth. I am more of a writer than a reader. I basically only enjoy reading "chicklit" books (i.e. chick literature) This summer I have been trying to read more to expand my horizons...

I picked up Chelsea Handler's My Horizontal Life and let me just say, it has officially kicked Memoirs of a Geisha's ass as my new favorite book! This book was incomprehensibly funny and honest. I lived vicariously through Chelsea as I am definitely not nearly as gutsy as she is.

I highly, highly recommend this book to women AND men for some humor, wit, and maybe even some advice!
